I’m Julian Sutton, the Director of JSA, I look forward to acting on your behalf.

I’m a highly experienced forensic planning Expert Witness with over 35 years of the construction industry. I have specialised in delay analysis and forensic planning for the past 22 years. During this time, I have acted as expert witness or expert advisor to both claimant and respondent parties on over 27 occasions. I have also been employed by several major contracting and professional services organisations over the course of my career.

I have deep practical experience in all aspects of the construction process and have been employed to undertake strategic planning, design management, procurement management, construction management, contract management, project audit and dispute resolution support. This varied experience enables an understanding of complex delay issues from all perspectives, allowing me to produce precise and convincing delay analyses and reports. My advice has, on numerous occasions resulted in the successful recovery of a commercial positions on distressed and high-risk projects. I have provided both oral and written Expert evidence in the Royal Courts of Justice and was lauded for my contributions by my client’s legal team.
